We invite you to join us for an event that will enhance your understanding of the suffering of Jesus Christ in his own words....We call it CrossRoad: The Path from Suffering to Joy.
The statements Jesus made at the time of his death are among the most important he made. The words he spoke as he suffered still carry great truth and impact our lives today.
|
The CrossRoad experience begins with a reminder of the prophecies given about the suffering Messiah who was to come. Then our guests will follow a self-paced pathway through each statement area.
We will provide a booklet that will guide and assist you if desired. We have prepared special booklets for young children also.
|
The CrossRoadProject:
-
Multi-sensory experience
-
Self-led way to explore nine statements that Christ made when he died. Take as much or as little time as you desire to go through.
-
Seven statements were made as he hung on the cross.
-
Two others were made right before he was arrested.
CrossRoad is designed to be enjoyed by all ages, from 3 years old up. It is completely accessible by those with limited mobility. We will provide free KidCare by our loving and qualified staff so that you may experience CrossRoad on your own, and then lead your child/children through separately if you desire.
The culmination of the Easter / Resurrection weekend is our celebration of the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day!
We also invite you to join us for one or both of our worship gatherings at 8.00 and 10.00 am on Sunday, April 4. Our Easter Choir will present the powerful worship musical, The Risen Savior, and we'll have a relevant message by our Senior Pastor, Ed Deming. All the details for CrossRoad and Resurrection Sunday are provided on the Full Page and Half Page advertisements below (pdf files). Use these to invite your friends and family to experience CrossRoad for themselves.
We invite you to download, forward, and print these advertisements for all your loved ones.
