The Book of Revelation is the relevant Word of God for His people today. It is a book that reveals Christ to us plainly. It displays His glory, His power, His plan, and His completion.
As such, it is a book of worship. This series explores the early portions of the book, namely chapters 1 through 3. Two major themes are contained there:
- First, the expression of the glorious Christ in chapter 1 and
- Second, His personal, specific comments to individual congregations
As Jesus reveals Himself to us in Revelation, we begin to see ourselves in the context and light of His own glory. We can begin to understand how He sees and assesses our deeds toward His purposes. We will be confronted with God’s perspective about our local church’s priorities and actions.
Be prepared to learn, to understand, to accept, and to respond. As Jesus admonishes us in chapter 1, let’s all read, hear, and take in His Word for us today!
Join us as Pastor Ed leads us on this exciting journey of the first three chapters of the Book of Revelation.
