Small Groups

We become a warmer church through the simple act of getting together. Our Small Groups ministry accomplishes just that.

We believe in connecting people who would naturally group up because of common interests.

We have already formed several small groups with that in mind and are looking to form several more.

Each of the groups listed is open to new members, and would welcome your involvement.

Men's Prayer Group

All men are invited to join in for a time of prayer on Thursdays at 7.00 am. Contact the church office for more information.

Ladies Prayer Group

All ladies are invited to join us for prayer on Fridays at 10.00 am. Contact the church office for more information.

Pre-Service Corporate Prayer

Everyone is invited to join us for a time of prayer before the Sunday AM service at 9.00 am. We meet in the Staff Lounge. Contact the church office for more information.



iGO2 Group For Young Families iGO2 is a support group of EWC providing opportunities for parents and guardians and their young children to participate in Christ-centered, family-friendly no and low cost activities in the Columbus area as well as engagement in world outreach projects that directly help families. Contact Jimmy and Sue Trotz. iGO2: defining the activity of community.



The Romans 12:2 Ladies Bible Study Small Group The Romans 12:2 "...be transformed by the renewing of your mind..." Bible Study Small Group is for women of all ages. As Romans 12:2 ladies we will focus on renewing our minds with God's Word, our foundation being God's love, God's grace and Christ in us. Meetings will be on the 1st, 3rd and 5th (if applicable) Tuesdays of the month from 9.30 am – 11.00 am @ EWC. Come join us for a time dedicated to worship, prayer, study and fellowship in the Lord. “DEEP Teens” Group

This group for Middle and High School students meets every Sunday evening from 5.00 – 6.30 pm. They focus on learning and applying God’s Word to their everyday lives. Contact Youth Pastor Karen Gladstone for more information, 614.439.8483.

Wednesday Night Adult Fellowship Classes

These classes, which rotate every two months, serve as short-term small groups that take place on our campus. They provide adult participants with opportunities to explore different topics in God’s Word. Some classes are “Christian-book” based and others are “Book-of-the-Bible” based.
